Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Electricité De France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Cyclife is in a significant growth phase and conducts nuclear operations in the Studsvik area outside Nyköping, employing over 230 people. The company has world-unique specialist expertise in the decommissioning of radiological facilities and helps its clients minimize the environmental impact of their radiological activities.



The Swedish facility is located in the archipelago outside Nyköping. Who are we looking for?



For Cyclife's new facility, we are looking for an engaged and goal-oriented Team Manager who wants to help build, lead, and develop a high-performing team. You have a clear ability to plan, structure, and create engagement among your employees in an inclusive and collaborative manner, while ensuring that operations are conducted safely, with a focus on quality and high efficiency. The role requires present and attentive leadership, good communication skills, and experience in driving and developing improvement processes in a growing organization.



Requirements and qualifications:



  • Several years of documented leadership experience in a relevant industry or field.
  • Completed upper secondary education.
  • Good understanding and compliance with work environment, safety, and quality work.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Driver's license B, access to a personal vehicle.

Meritorious:



  • Experience working as a manager in the manufacturing industry.
  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working with KPI monitoring and business planning.

We consider it particularly meritorious if you have experience actively working with the psychosocial work environment and can contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and sustainable environment for the team. Furthermore, we value experience in change management and leading teams through periods of development and transition in a structured and communicative manner. Experience in coaching, providing constructive feedback, and handling difficult conversations with professionalism and clarity is also meritorious.



What does the role entail?



The role of Production Team Manager involves overall responsibility for leading and developing a group of approximately 15 employees within the production operations. You report directly to the Department Manager for Extension and are part of the Extension management team, where you contribute operational and strategic perspectives to drive the business forward.



With tasks that include:



  • Ensuring the team's safety, work environment, radiation protection, quality, and competence development.
  • Leading and distributing work within the team and following up on performance and goals.
  • Conducting employee conversations and preparing materials for salary reviews.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Actively participating in improvement and transformation projects.
  • Collaborating with other departments and functions to optimize operations.
  • Responsible for reporting deviations and safety-related incidents.
  • Quality assuring processes and instructions and contributing to the development of new routines.
  • Building processes and setting routines for daily operations.

As a Team Manager, you play a central role in ensuring an efficient, quality-assured, and well-coordinated production flow. The position involves broad and daily contact points internally, where you closely collaborate with project managers, production coordinators, and other team leaders to create coherence, good communication, and clear priorities in the operations. You lead your team with clarity, presence, and engagement, and actively work to create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. The work is 100% on-site and starts during the day before transitioning to a continuous two-shift system, which means working both day and afternoon shifts as well as weekends.
